About Funding Compliance Office
Funding Compliance Office provides independent compliance support to organisations delivering government-funded programs.
We specialise in workforce and funding compliance, helping organisations meet their contractual and governance obligations in a way that is clear, documented, and able to withstand audit and review.
Our approach is practical and structured. We strengthen compliance systems, improve evidence management, and reduce risk without disrupting service delivery or creating unnecessary administrative burden.
We work alongside existing teams and governance arrangements to support audit readiness, executive assurance, and the continuity of government funding.
Why we exist
Compliance risk increases over time, often through staff turnover, program changes, growing reporting requirements, and competing operational priorities.
When compliance processes become unclear or inconsistently applied, issues often surface late, during audits or reviews, placing funding arrangements and governance assurance under pressure.
Funding Compliance Office exists to provide structured, independent assurance that compliance obligations are being met in a way that is organised, defensible, and sustainable over time.
Our role is to give executives and boards confidence that compliance risks are understood, actively managed, and unlikely to result in avoidable audit findings or funding disruption.
How we work
We take a structured, low-disruption approach to managing compliance risk.
Our work focuses on:
- establishing clear, fit-for-purpose compliance systems aligned to funding obligations
- ensuring records and evidence are complete, current, and easy to produce when required
- identifying and addressing gaps early, before they escalate into audit or funding issues
- maintaining ongoing oversight to prevent compliance drift over time
We work alongside existing teams and governance structures.
We do not replace internal staff or introduce unnecessary administration. Our role is to strengthen what is already in place and provide confidence that compliance is being managed appropriately.
Who we support
We support organisations delivering government-funded programs, including:
- Indigenous organisations
- community and settlement service providers
- workforce and employment programs
- housing and support services
- other publicly funded service organisations
Our work is suited to organisations of varying size that require structured compliance systems, clear evidence, and ongoing assurance to meet funding and governance obligations.
Independence
Funding Compliance Office is an independent service provider. We are not a regulator, auditor, or funding body.
Our role is to support organisations to meet their obligations and prepare for audits with confidence. We operate discreetly and in partnership with our clients.
